Open plots sale fraud accused arrested

RSD-Vemulawada news: DSP Nagendrachari said in a statement on 16.04.2024 that the Konaraopet police arrested Merugu Babu, who was harassing innocent people by offering large sums of money to innocent people by offering them open flats at a low price in the surrounding areas of Hyderabad and Gajvel. DSP said on this occasion that Sasala Padma of Mamidipalli village of Konaraopet mandal, for allegedly giving open plots at a low price in the surrounding areas of Hyderabad and Gajvel, deliberately collecting money from innocent people without any registration and without refunding their money and causing them trouble and trying to attack the victims. According to the complaint of Cherla land grabbers, cases were registered and Merugu Babu of Kolanur village, who was committing the said crimes, was detained and interrogated. He confessed to the crimes he had committed and said that he would give open plots in Hyderabad and Gajwel areas at a low price to many people from the surrounding villages, and that he could earn more profits in a short period of time. The DSP said that after he confessed to the crime that he used to collect lakhs of money from them, used such money for his own needs, postponed the registration by giving various reasons to the accused, and threatened to kill anyone if he forced money, he was produced in the court and remanded.
