Operation Smile-9 was successful with the coordination of all departments.

To eliminate the system of child labor, the central government organizes two programs in a year called Operation Smile and Operation Muskan to identify the missing children and bring them back to their parents. Police and task force team, Child Welfare Committee, Labor Department, Education Department of the district has worked together for the success of Operation Smile in the district. The Child Protection Department formed teams with various department officials in the district and identified non-governmental voluntary organizations and conducted extensive inspections. As part of the Operation Smile-9 program conducted from January 1 to 31 this year, 26 (boys-17, girls-09) child laborers were identified across the district. District SP Akhil Mahajan said that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the rights of children and he asked us to work responsibly for the elimination of the child labor system. He said that often those who are making children to  work are identified and cases are registered against them. When you see street children, you should dial 100 or the local police to inform them. The District SP congratulated the officers of all departments who contributed to the success of Operation Smile.
