Peace and brotherhood is due to sacrifice of police martyrs

RSD- Sircilla news: The district collector and district SP said that the peace and brotherhood seen today is the result of the sacrifices of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the police martyrs who laid down their lives for the people. The District Collector, District SP paid their respects along with family members of the martyrs and police officers at the Martyrs Stupa on the outskirts of Lingampeta village of Chandurthi Mandal under the Rajannasircilla district. It is said that more than 08 policemen have sacrificed in their internal security duties in Sircilla district, and the present situation is better than the past due to their sacrifices, and there is a need to constantly remember the sacrifices of the policemen. Speaking to the family members of the martyrs who attended the program and asked about their family’s problems, the collector assured that the problems mentioned by them will be solved as soon as possible and gave mementos to the families of the martyrs. On this occasion, the Collector said that the sacrifice of the martyrs of the police will be an inspiration for the future generations, and the police system is a system created for public needs and care. The collector said that the police system works very crucially in every situation like maintaining peace and security, protecting the internal security of the country, protecting the people, and protecting government property. The Collector said that it is commendable that special programs are being undertaken by the police to reach people more for national unity from October 21st to 31st 2024. Later SP said that the sacrifices of the martyrs of the police who died in the fight against anti-social forces for the establishment of peace in the society should be remembered, and with the inspiration given by the martyrs, they are moving ahead for the protection of peace and security as part of the security and protection measures of the people. He said that the responsibility of remembering the sacrifices of the martyrs lies with the people of all walks of life. It was mentioned that 10 CRPF policemen were killed by Chinese soldiers on this day in 1959 while patrolling in the Oxai Chin region of the country, and since then Police Martyrs’ Day is being celebrated on October 21st every year to commemorate their sacrifices. He said that many complex challenges are being faced during the performance of duty but we are moving ahead overcoming them. This year, 214 policemen were killed by terrorists and anti-communal forces across the country. He said that while remembering their sacrifices, the welfare of the families of the martyred, by providing them with all the financial benefits, and providing mental strength to the respective families is the real tribute we give to the martyrs of the police. SP said that in commemoration of police martyrs, police will organize blood donation camps, cycle rally, candle rally, 2k run, open house, essay competition, photo and video competition from 21st October 2024 till 31st October 2024 and pay tributes to the families of police martyrs.
