Prof. Jayashankar birth anniversary celebrations – Rajannasircilla district
Prof. Jayashankar is a ideologue, who have contributed a lot in motivating people to get separate Telangana. He made the world to understand the need to have a separate Telangana. To show tribute to his commitment towards Telangana formation, on 06.08.2022, the 17th Police Battalion Sardapur, Rajannasircilla district police office and Municipal corporation office have celebrated his jayanthi.
Speaking on the occasion, district SP Rahul Hegde said that as an ideologue, he was hailed as a great man who sacrificed his life for the cause of the state for the aspiration of the people of Telangana. He said that he is a great person who has informed the world about the necessity of Telangana state for six decades and mobilized the people with the spirit of the movement. His life is exemplary and inspiring for today’s youth. With his inspiration, he wished to serve the people better through the police department and get people’s forgiveness. Additional SP Chandraiah and District Police Office staff participated in this program at district police office.
To celebrate Prof. Jayashankar’s birth anniversary, Battalion Commandant K. Subramaniam, Prof. Jayashankar’s portrait was garlanded and paid tributes. Later the officers and other police personnel Prof. Tributes were paid at Jayashankar’s portrait. Assistant Commandant Mr. M. Parthasarathy Reddy, AO Mrs. B. Shailaja, R.I. Mr. P. Srinivas garu, P. Narayana garu, D. Shankar garu, P. Rajender garu officers and staff participated.
Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Corporation said that Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar Sir participated in Telangana movement through many programs from special Telangana first phase movement to Malidasha movement. Under the leadership of Chief Minister KCR, he believed that a separate Telangana state would be possible and along with KCR as an advisor and guide in the movement, he made the people aware of the separate Telangana through his speeches through his many writings on water, appointments and funding. On this occasion, she recalled that Jayashankar Sir has said many times that his life goal is that he will live until a separate state is formed. But unfortunately he died in 2011, but in the mind of Telangana people he will be alive forever.
Similarly, Chief Minister KCR and Minister KTR said that according to the wishes of Prof. Jayashankar sir, the goal of governance to build a golden Telangana will be achieved.
Chief Minister KCR honored Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar sir in recognition of his services so that posterity would know the greatness of Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar and said that Prof. Jayashankar Bhupalapally District and Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar Agricultural University were established in Telangana in the name of Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar and worked hard to organize his birth anniversary celebrations.
