RSD-Vemulawada news: On 07.12.2024, on the basis of information that four persons were illegally transporting government ration rice in two vehicles from Huzurabad, the District Task Force under the leadership of CI Sadan Kumar and SI Das, Sudhakar conducted simultaneous raids. The persons who were illegally transporting such ration rice were arrested at Sankepalli and 70 quintals of ration rice and two vehicles were seized. After questioning, the ration rice was collected from Parlapalli Paidebba Raju, a ration dealer belonging to Karimnagar district and Sirasapally village, Huzurabad mandal and was being transported to SRR Industries Rice Mill located on the outskirts of Engal village in Chandurthi mandal of Sircilla district. Simultaneous raids were conducted on SRR Rice Mill located on the outskirts of Engal village and 334 bags of ration rice were seized and handed over to the district civil supply officials. It was reported that four persons from Huzurabad were illegally transporting government ration rice in two vehicles. Task force officials said that cases have been registered against the transporters at the Vemulawada town police station and an investigation is underway. They said that they will not ignore anyone who illegally transports the PDS rice provided by the state government to the poor and diverts it from reaching the poor. They said that they are constantly monitoring the situation and conducting special drives across the district and conducting widespread raids. They warned that they will not ignore anyone who diverts the schemes provided by the government for the welfare of the poor and disrupts the food security of the people. Vemulawada town police and task force staff Tirupati, Rajesh, Srinivas, Akshar, Mahipal participated in these raids. The CI congratulated the task force staff for collecting this information.
