Ration dealers commission hiked 7 times by TS government

RSD- Telangana news: The Telangana government has given good news to the ration dealers. The government has decided to increase the commission of 17,227 ration dealers in the state to Rs.1400 per metric ton. It is known that the ration dealers have been fighting over their problems in the state for the past few days. In this order, the discussions held by Minister Harish Rao Gangula Kamalakar at the secretariat on 08.08.2023 with the ration dealers’ associations were successful on the orders of Chief Minister KCR. It has decided to increase the commission of ration dealers seven times simultaneously. Government has taken a key decision by increasing the commission from Rs.200 to Rs.1400 since the formation of Telangana. With this decision, the state government will allocate an additional Rs.139 crore annually. It also decided to allot shops to the heirs of 100 dealers who died in Corona. The government has shown solutions to 13 major issues such as insurance, construction of waybridges, extension of dealer renewal to five years, Ration Bhawan, funeral assistance etc. Telangana has once again proved that the welfare of the poor and the welfare of the ration dealers has not changed. It is supplying food grains to 91 lakh poor on its own like no other state in the country. Although the Center has not increased the allocations, the Telangana government is providing them. The ration dealers expressed their happiness for the government’s decision to increase the commission.
