Resident of Khammam district as a Global Health Advisor

RSD-Khammam news: A Khammam town resident got a rare honour. Adapa Karthik, an IAS officer from the city, has been appointed as a consultant in the Asia Division of the World Health Organization.Karthik, who completed MBBS, became the IAS topper in 2007. Later he went to the Punjab cadre and rose step by step. Currently, he is working there as a special secretary of the health department.While working, he completed his PhD on cancer eradication at the University of North Carolina, USA. Currently, he will be working as a consultant in the regional office of the World Health Organization in South Block, Delhi for two years. His relatives and residents of Khammam district are happy about Karthik’s appointment as a consultant to the World Health Organization.
