Shut down hospitals with no standards and permits

RSD- Telangana news: TPCC Legal Department Convener Burra Ravi Teja Goud has complained to the Collector demanding that private hospitals that are operating without proper permits, without proper qualifications, with hired doctors and playing with people’s lives be closed down. He has asked for immediate action against hospitals that do not comply with quality standards, have few unqualified staff and facilities, have more than the limit of beds, and are providing substandard treatment. He said that recently, a person died of a heart attack due to the lack of basic health tests that should be done when patient comes to the hospital. Since the Constitution provides for the right to life, he complained that keeping in mind public health, the relevant hospitals that do not comply with standards and do not have permits should be immediately avoided.
