Special dental camps for sanitation workers and students
RSD-Karimnagar news: District Collector Pamela Satpathi has ordered a team of government dentists to provide free medical treatment to sanitation workers and students of government schools in the district through special dental camps. She said that a necessary plan should be prepared for this. Speaking at a meeting organized with dentists of the Government General Hospital at the Collectorate on 05.12.2025, the Collector said that free dental check-ups should be conducted through a special camp for sanitation workers and multi-purpose workers in Karimnagar Corporation, all municipalities in the district, gram panchayats. She ordered that dental check-ups should be conducted in phases for all students in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas, Model Schools, Government Primary and High Schools, and Zilla Parishad High Schools. She said that those with more dental problems should be identified and provided further treatment at the Government General Hospital. She ordered that a plan be prepared for this. She said that the necessary dental staff for the management and treatment of the camps should be used through deputation from various government hospitals in the district. On this occasion, a progress report on the services provided by government dentists was handed over to the District Collector. Government dental officers Ravi Praveen Reddy, Randeep, Praveen, Raju, and Satish participated in the meeting.
