Task force police surprise attack on poker base
RSD – Tanggalapally news: By the directions of Rajannasircilla District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS, under the command of task force S.I. Maruti raided the poker base and arrested 12 people who were playing poker at Ellamma temple in Mandepalli village suburb of Tangalapally mandal on the basis of information that they were playing poker secretly by betting openly. Rs.56,810/- in cash, 12 mobile phones were seized and handed over to Tangalapally Police Station for further investigation.
S.I. Maruti said that “Strict action will be taken against those who get used to easy earnings and indulge in bad addictions like this and commit illegal activities. We will do regular inspections in the district under the direction of the task force. We will take strict action against anyone who engages in gambling, betting and gambling like poker.” If the locals know that such unsocial activities are going on in their area, they should immediately inform the police, the details of those who have given the information will be kept confidential.
