Telangana people drank beer worth Rs.670 crores in 18 days

From 1st of April to 18th of April 2024, beer worth around 670 crore rupees was drunk. 23, 58,827 cases of beer were sold in these 18 days. Sales of beers have increased by 28.7 percent compared to last year. If people drink like this in the month of April when the sun is less, we can estimate the range of sales in the month of May. In this order, it is reported that the income from liquor in the state has reached around 30 thousand crores. Analysts predict that this income is likely to increase further in the coming period, but an official in the Excise Department disclosed that beer sales have increased due to occasions like the Sun-dawning. If only one bottle of beer is sold in this range, many are wondering what range the total liquor sales will be. There are only 2,620 liquor shops in Telangana. There are over a thousand bars, clubs and tourist hotels. Alcohol is also available in this. Through these, liquor worth Rs.90 to Rs.100 crores will be sold per day. Meanwhile, the government is also keeping the stock to meet the ever-increasing sales of beer.
