RSD- Vemulawada news: Government Whip Adi Srinivas said that the expansion work of Vemulawada Rajanna Temple is being carried out as planned. On 22.05.2025, Government Whip Adi Srinivas distributed the second phase of 484 Indiramma houses sanction orders in Vemulawada Municipality along with District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha in the premises of the MPDO office. Speaking on the occasion, Government Whip Adi Srinivas said that the government will sanction Indiramma houses in the first phase to the poor who do not have houses. He said that despite applying several times in the past, double bedroom houses have not been received. He said that the government will sanction 3,500 Indiramma houses per assembly constituency every year for the next 4 years. He said that after the formation of the Praja government, we have laid the foundation stone for development works worth a thousand crore rupees in the area through the hands of the CM. He said that in the past, the rulers cheated by releasing 100 crores for the Vemulawada temple, and today we are developing the Vemulawada temple under the Praja government. He said that the construction of the 3rd bridge will be completed after the rainy season is over. He said that preventive measures have been taken by spending 9 crores to prevent sewage from entering the temple tank. He said that the main stream is being cleaned. He said that they have taken concerted steps for the expansion of the Vemulawada temple, many are creating misconceptions that the temple will be closed, devotees need not worry, that daily rituals will be performed for the Lord. He said that the promises made to the people are being implemented one by one to rectify the economic devastation created by the previous government, the Rajiv Arogyasri limit has been increased to 10 lakhs, free bus travel for women in RTC buses, 200 units of free electricity, 500 rupees gas cylinder supply, crop loan waiver up to 2 lakhs for farmers, 500 quintal bonus for small farmers, Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, 40% diet charges in residential schools, 200 percent increase in cosmetic charges, construction of Young India Integrated Residential School, etc., He said that financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh is being provided to the beneficiaries under the Indiramma Indla Scheme. He said that if a house is constructed between 400 and 600 square feet, then Rs. 5 lakh will be provided through the green channel in the 4th phase. He said that Rs. 1 lakh will be provided in the basement phase, Rs. 1 lakh in the wall phase, Rs. 2 lakh in the slab phase and another lakh will be provided after the construction of the house is completed.

He said that even the poorest of the poor who do not have a house plot will definitely be provided houses in the second phase and no one needs to worry. He said that in the past, it was only under his control that assignment lands were distributed to the poor, and that there were no assignment committees in the last 10 years, and today, once again, assignment committees will be formed under the MLAs in Bhu Bharati and house plots will be provided to the poor. He said that a subsidy for setting up self-employment units will be released soon for 4 thousand youth under Rajiv Yuva Vikasam. He said that full support will be provided for the construction of Indiramma houses and free sand will be supplied on behalf of the government. District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that plans are being made with the local MLA to complete and provide incomplete double bedroom houses to the landless poor. The collector said that the government will take steps to distribute house pattas to the landless poor in the coming days. He said that the beneficiaries of the 484 Indiramma houses distributed today in Vemulawada town limits should start the construction work of the houses within 30 days. He said that full support will be provided to the poor in the construction of houses and that one lakh rupees will be provided to the poor without capital through self-help women’s groups.
