Tenure of the Vice Chancellors came to end, new VC appointments started

RSD-Hyderabad news:  The tenure of the vice chancellors of the 10 Universities in the state will end on 21.05.2024. The Election Commission has also given a green signal for the appointment of VCs, and the government has intensified the exercise for the appointment of new VCs. Already, the government has appointed a search committee for the appointment of vice-chancellors of all 9 universities except Kakatiya University. He said that the previous government had given suggestions for social justice and that their government would make appointments on the basis of social justice. As Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has already announced, the steps for appointment of new VCs have started in that direction. Official sources said that the government is determined to complete the recruitment process by the end of May 2024.Apart from Kakatiya University, Osmania, JNTUH, Palamuru, Potti Sriramulu, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana, Telangana, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University and Dr. BR Ambedkar University, VCs are to be appointed.Kakatiya University has yet to appoint a search committee for the appointment of VC.
