The welfare of weavers is the aim of our government – Minister KTR

Minister KTR held a review meeting on the textile department at the State Secretariat. On this occasion, the officials inquired about the programs being conducted by the textile department and the details of their implementation. He said that his government is working under the guidance of Chief Minister KCR with the aim of welfare of the leaders, and under his direction, it is already working for the welfare of the weavers like nowhere else in the country. More programs to improve the welfare of weavers. The textile department officials have been instructed to prepare a report on the activities to be undertaken to increase the income and professionalism of weavers. It is suggested to speed up the development works of textile parks and handloom clusters in the state. Proposals should be made for the establishment of handloom museum in Hyderabad. National Handloom Day should be celebrated on 7th August. Tirpur model in Tamil Nadu should be studied for development of powerloom clusters in Telangana.
