Rice grain purchase center at 12th ward Chnadrampet – Sircilla
On 29.04.2023 in local 12th Ward Chandrampet merged village, the rice grain purchase center set up under the leadership of Basic Agricultural Cooperative Society (BACS) Sircilla was inaugurated by the President of Municipality Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani.
Municipal Sangha President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that Chief Minister KCR will fully sell the grain grown by farmers in the state at the government support price of Rs.2060 for A grade and B grade for 2040 rupees through agricultural market committees, BACS, Mepma and IKP etc. She said that the government will make all the arrangements to buy grain. Farmers are advised not to believe the words of brokers and get cheated by selling grain at a low price. Minister KTR said that he talked to the officials and representatives of the people so that the farmers would not face any problems and set up purchase centers in their respective villages and made all arrangements to ensure that lorries, porters, gunny bags and drinking water were available so that no problem would arise.
She said that the state government will stand by the farmers through many welfare programs such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Po Kerentu, Rythu Vedikulu Rythu Kallalu, Kaleshwaram Uttipipthala Scheme, forming every five thousand acres as a cluster. According to the ideas of State Chief Minister KCR, under the guidance of Minister KTR, it is said that farmers are requested to grow commercial crops like palm oil, vegetables, sunflower, pulses and rice grains as alternatives to rice. She said that the government has made the local AEOs fully aware of the purchase of paddy grain and that the state government will purchase the full extent of paddy grain as per the government guidelines.
