Thief stole a chain from an old woman’s neck was arrested
RSD- Sircilla news: On this occasion, Siricilla Town Inspector Krishna spoke and said that while an old woman named Gade Rani from Mehar Nagar in Siricilla town was sleeping alone in her house with the doors closed, a person named Mukund Bhaskar from Shanti Nagar in Siricilla town opened the doors and came inside on 15-11-2025 in the afternoon and tried to steal the golden necklace from Gade Rani’s neck. When the thief tried to steal the necklace, Rani grabbed the necklace tightly and threw the thief away. When the thief caught hold of chain, he ran away, a case was registered on the complaint of Rani and two teams were formed as part of the investigation and based on the CCTV cameras, Bhaskar was arrested at his house and interrogated. Bhaskar confessed to the crime and used the money he stole by selling the stolen property for his luxuries. The remaining money was seized and he was remanded on 17.11.2025 the inspector said. Everyone should install CCTV cameras as a matter of duty so that crimes can be controlled, and the public, businesses and public representatives should come forward to install CCTV cameras, the inspector Krishna said.
