Tight security for Mahashivratri fair and special arrangements for traffic control

District SP Akhil Mahajan has directed the police personnel who have come to stand guard from different districts for the Mahashivratri fair to be held at Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy Shrine, which is known as Dakshina Kashi.

SP said on in this regard that, to ensure that devotees can visit Swami in a spiritual environment, strong security has been arranged with 2000 police personnel to prevent any untoward incidents.

The police personnel should patiently give advice and instructions to the devotees who come from distant places to visit Swami at the expense of many expenses. He said that they should perform their duties so that the devotees who come to the fair can get mercy. He suggested that everyone should work in coordination so that there is no inconvenience anywhere. There should be 24-hour police surveillance so that the devotees do not face any trouble.If any trouble arises, they should inform the control room.CC cameras have been installed in the vicinity of the temples. He said that special police teams are ready to deal with any kind of trouble. Every policeman should perform his duties so that every devotee can visit Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy in a peaceful environment and return safely.

Along with Sri Rajarajeswara temple, the Secuirity will be provided at Bhimeswara, Nagareswara, Kedareswara, Baddipochamma, Nampelli and Agraharam temples also.

He said that there will be continuous vigilance by crime parties to prevent thefts, chain snatching and other crimes from happening where devotees are concerned. She team teams will also be on duty for the protection of women devotees. If any suspicious persons are seen, they should inform the authorities.

They want to ensure that the vehicles that come to the fair in large numbers are parked in a regular manner. The personnel on traffic duties should control the traffic so that there is no traffic jam. Special measures have been taken to prevent traffic problems from the vehicles coming to the fair. Cones and stickers have been installed to prevent accidents at night.
