Tomb of hazarat baba in Vemulawada Rajanna temple premises should be removed

RSD-Vemulawada news: Maraveni Ranjith Kumar has sent a petition to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Government Whip Adi Srinivas through registered post to remove the tomb of Hazrat Baba in the premises of Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Keeping the tomb of Hazrat Baba, who urinated on the holy Shivalinga, in the temple premises is an act of insulting Hindu religion. This is unauspicious for the sanctity of the temple.” He said that prayers and religious slogans being chanted around the tomb of such a person in a masjid style are against the temple’s Agama rules and are likely to hurt the sentiments of Hindu devotees. He warned that there is a danger of unsightly structures in the temple premises disrupting religious harmony. Also, “When it is said that Allah is the only God according to the Quran, Muslims cannot support such mausoleum constructions. Therefore, the government should take the responsibility of protecting the respect of religions without giving rise to external tensions between religions,” Ranjit Kumar urged. Also, he urged the Chief Minister to shift this mausoleum located in the vicinity of the temple to another suitable place and completely transform the area in accordance with Hindu traditions. “This will not only respect the sentiments of Hindu devotees but will also be an act of protecting religious harmony,” he clarified.
