RSD- Karimnagar news:  A strike notice was given to the hospital superintendent DR. Veera Reddy on 19.03.2025 under the Government Hospital Workers and Employees Union (TUCC) with demands such as paying the pending salaries of the workers working in the government hospital for two months, otherwise the workers of Karimnagar Government Hospital will go on strike by stopping work, and appointing a scavenger for this purpose. On this occasion, TUCC National Committee Member and President of the Government Hospital Workers and Employees Union, Bandari Shekhar, said that there are about 250 workers working in the sanitation, patient care, security guards and plumbers working in the government hospital, and the contractor and medical authorities are causing trouble by not paying the workers salaries. They have not been getting their salaries for the last two months. He criticized that it is shameful that the workers have asked many times to pay their pending salaries by the 5th of every month. GO 29/03/2025 No. 694 was issued to the Karimnagar Government Hospital, sanctioning bills for 542 beds. He expressed his concern that the salaries of the workers are pending due to the issuance of GO No. 694 and then issuing bills for only 330 beds. He alleged that the state government is not sincere towards the workers. We have also submitted applications to the DME of Hyderabad, Karimnagar District Collector, Superintendent and the management of the Agile company on this issue. However, he said that the problem has not been resolved till now. He said that the strike notice had to be given under the wrong circumstances and that the workers will go on strike from April 4th by stopping work.Those who gave the strike notice included Government Hospital Workers and Employees Union President P. Arun, Secretary P. Kalavathi, workers Raju, Anil, Balayya, Mahesh, Mallesham and others.
