Under 19 World Cup starts

RSD-Hyderabad news: The International Under-19 ODI World Cup will start from 19.01.2024 in South Africa. A total of 16 teams will play in this World Cup. 16 teams are divided into four groups. 12 teams will qualify for the Super Six based on the points table in the group stage. Four of the Super Six will reach the semi finals. 41 matches will be played from January 19^th to February 11^th 2024. The final match will be on February 11^th 2024. Just as Australia continues to dominate the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup, India is showing dominance in the Under-19 ODI World Cup.

Team India has won a record five times so far. Under 19 ODI World Cup has been held 14 times since 1988. The Indian team is entering the ring under the captaincy of Punjab boy Saharan. Aravelli Avanish Rao and Murugan Abhishek from Telangana are in the under-19 team. Satta Chatti shined in Team India in Under 19 matches. Players like Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Mohammad Kaif came to Team India from Under-19.
