RSD-Vemulawada news: The police have responded seriously to an incident in the Vemulawada town area where minors were dangerously violating traffic rules. An incident came to the attention of the police where five minors were riding on a single two-wheeler at excessive speed (rash driving), causing fear and anxiety among other motorists.Responding to this, the Vemulawada Town police took the minors into custody. Subsequently, their parents were summoned to the police station, and a special counseling session was conducted in the presence of the Vemulawada Town CI and Traffic SI.

Key points of the counselling:

Risk to Life: The police explained that riding five people on a single bike increases the risk of losing control of the vehicle, which is a threat to their lives.

Legal Action: They stated that minors driving vehicles without a driving license is a crime according to the Motor Vehicles Act.

Parent’s Responsibility: They warned that if parents condone their children’s mischief and allow them to use vehicles, the parents will be held responsible for any resulting accidents and legal cases.

Police Warning:

“Parents should not give vehicles to their children, keeping their children’s future in mind. We will take strict action against those caught driving recklessly in the town. Cases will be registered against the owners or parents who give vehicles to minors,” the Town Circle Inspector clarified.
