6 thousand special buses for Medaram fair

RSD-Karimnagar news:  Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that TSRTC has made all arrangements with the help of the state government for the convenience of the devotees coming to Medaram, the largest tribal fair in Asia. While Medaram Maha Jatara will be held from 21^st to 24^th of February 2024, in view of the rush of devotees, RTC will run 6000 special buses till 25^th February 2024, he said. As more buses are going to the fair this time than before, there is a possibility that the number of buses for common passengers in different parts of the state will be reduced and people have been appealed not to be inconvenienced. Mahalakshmi – Free bus travel scheme for women is available for this fair. He said that the organization is estimating that around 40 lakh devotees will come in RTC buses and visit deities in the wake of the implementation of the Mahalakshmi scheme. A large number of 6,000 special buses are being run to bring the devotees safely to their destinations.
