Former Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar Goud said that they have discriminated against Sircilla while addressing State Planning Commission Vice President Boinpally Vinod Kumar. Ponnam Prabhakar Goud said in a media conference organized in Sircilla on 26.09.2022 that for their own benefit they have rerouted the National Highway to pass in front of their hospital and addressed former MP and State Planning Commission Vice President Boinapally Vinod Kumar. The issue of diversion was explained by showing the National Authority route map. People are asked to think about these things. He reminded that the current MP Bandi Sanjay has already been informed in this regard through a letter. He said that during his representation as an MP in the past, he had brought Beedi Labor Hospital and Kendriya Vidyalaya to Sircilla, at least so far the state government has not allocated the space. He reminded that in order to protect the handloom workers, besides giving interest-free loans to the weavers’ families, Union Minister of Weaving and Textiles Kavuri Sambasivarao brought in the Maramaggala modernization scheme. He said that a proposal was sent to the center for power loom cluster in Sircilla. It was alleged that the cluster moved to Warangal because Vinod Kumar was not a local. He was asked to tell what he did to the Rajannasircilla district during his five years as MP and three years as the Vice President of the Planning Commission. They demanded the government to give a weaver’s bandhu which would fix it while he was still alive rather than a leader who would give insurance. He asked the people to reconsider the actions of the leaders of the ruling party, even if they had the opportunity to tell the people what he had done as an MP. The meeting was challenged by DCC president Nagula Satyanarayana, Sircilla town presidents Sanjaya Srinivas, Adi Srinivas, Kusa Ravinder, Black Congress district president Soora Devaraju, Women’s Congress district president Kamuni Vanitha, SC cell district president Akunuri Balaraju and many other leaders participated in the meeting.
