RSD- Telangana News: According to Jyotirao Poole who said that the root of all problems is lack of education, Telangana state government has provided all facilities in welfare gurukuls, model schools, government schools and Kasturiba Girls Vidyalayas and students studying in them have succeeded in national level competitive exams and are getting seats in IITs, NITs, IIITs.

Professor Jayashankar Badi bata from June 3rd to 17th across the state of Telangana. The main objective of this program is to identify out-of-school children and convince their parents to enroll them in Government schools, provide quality education and reduce drop outs. The education department has been successful in enrolling students in government schools by organizing a house-to-house campaign involving officials and local public representatives explaining the special nature of government schools. In this academic year, approximately 1,14,257 students have been enrolled in government schools through Badibata, out of which 31,205 students have come from private schools.

The government took a decision last academic year to introduce English medium in government schools for all the people as desired by the majority of the people of the state. Thus, many of the students who were studying English medium in private schools started enrolling in government schools.

In order to provide support to all the students studying in government schools and to ensure that the parents are not burdened financially,Chief Minister KCR has provided 6 note books to the students of classes 6 and 7, 7 note books to the students of class 8 and 14 note books to the students of classes 9 and 10 for free from this academic year. Parents and teachers are happy about this decision.

The introduction of English medium in government schools and provision of basic facilities in schools under the Mana Uru-Manabadi program has resulted in a significant increase in the number of students despite the shortage of teachers.

There are 26074 Mandal Parishad Zilla Parishad Schools, 194 Model Schools, 475 Kasturiba Gandhi Girls Vidyalayas, 31 Urban Residential Schools, 51 Central Schools, 161 Madrasas, 11637 Private Schools, 1002 Welfare Gurukuls. About 60 77073 students are studying from 1st to 10th class in all these. There are 30 93 368(50.90%) in government schools and 29 83705(49.09%) in private schools.

As Chief Minister KCR has always said that with sincerity and determination, anything can be achieved through the Mana Uru Manabadi program. KCR launched this program on 9th March 2022. Among the schools in the state, the first installments of the Mana Uru Manabadi scheme are 35% of the schools which have been modernized in 12 items. Maintenance of toilets, drinking water, construction of compound wall, construction of kitchen shed, construction of dining hall, construction of new classrooms, furniture for children and teachers, green chart boards, electrification, purchase of equipment for imparting digital education. The first release in the government’s effort is to provide quality education. 9123 schools have been selected and 3497 crores have been allocated to them in the budget. Also, CSR (Corporate Social Response) funds have also been made available to the people by selecting and modernizing schools in many districts. 1000 schools completed in the first phase of Mana Uru Manabadi scheme which were made available to all people on the occasion of Education Day held on June 20th.

In order to provide quality education to the students and to make the modern technology available to the teachers, tabs were given to the teachers working in primary school and primary high school in the state.
