Blood Donation Camp in 17th Police Battalion

17th Battalion Commandant K. Subramaniam inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp organized as a part of Police Martyrs Remembrance Week.

This blood donation camp was jointly organized by Dr. Heena, Dr. Ravi team of Government Hospital and 17th Police Battalion.

In this regard, Commandant K. Subramaniam said that blood donation is equal to life life donation and he congratulated all the personnel who donated blood as a part of Police Flag Day. It was informed that all 20 staff have donated blood.

He said that a blood donation camp has been organized to commemorate the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. He said that the society will never forget the policemen who died in the line of duty and Police Flag Day was organized in their memory. He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to remember the immortal police heroes who were strong in the hands of anti-social forces while protecting the lives and property of the people. He said that the police are duty-bound protectors who do not even count their lives for the protection of society.
