Chief Minister KCR made Telangana state as the grain storehouse of India
On 21.04.2023 in the opening ceremony of the rice grain purchase centers established under the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society Pedduru in the local 8th Ward and Mepma in the 22nd Ward, the President of the Municipal Association Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, the Chairman of the TSPTDC Guduri Praveen, and the President of the District Rythu Coordinating Committee Gaddam Narsaiah. , district president of BRS party Thota Agaiah and town president Jindam Chakrapani participated as chief guests and inaugurated the rice and grain purchase centers.
Municipal Corporation President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that Chief Minister KCR will make all arrangements to buy rice grain by the farmers at the government support price through centers like Mepma and IKP Fax. The farmers should not believe the words of the brokers and get cheated by selling grain at a low price.
Minister KTR said that he expressed his heartfelt thanks for making all the arrangements by talking to the officials and public representatives so that the farmers do not face any difficulties. He said that the state government stands by the farmers through many welfare programs like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, free electricity, Rythu Vedikas Rythu Kalalu. Today, projects like Kaleswaram project through Mission Kakatiya, through the connection of damming projects of ponds, solving the water problem in Telangana, working hard to develop agriculture in an unexpected way, and making Telangana state a treasure house for whole of India, credit goes to Chief Minister KCR.
According to the ideas of Chief Minister KCR who made the farmers aware of the need to grow commercial crops in view of the people’s needs rather than all the people growing the same stereotyped crops, under the guidance of Minister KTR, all the farmers are cultivating alternative crops like palm oil, vegetables, melons, pulses along with rice grains.
