Commissioner Sammaiah fines 10,000 for litterers

RSD- Sircilla News:Every morning as part of sanitation monitoring, Municipal Commissioner Sammaiah toured the Maneru Bridge area and observed a large amount of garbage. After inquiring as to who dumped the garbage, it was found out that it was the management of Kavya Bangalore Bakery in Gandhi Chowk and they were called to the place where the garbage was dumped and a fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed on them. Speaking on this occasion, the Municipal Commissioner informed that even in the past, those who throw garbage in the suburbs of the city or in open places were identified and fined, even though some people were not mature enough, heavy fines were imposed. It was informed that in the future also, fines will be levied in the same way on those who donot throw household waste in the twin bins reserved for pedestrians only, will not be left out. Sanitary Inspector B Satyanarayana, Sanitary Jawan Umar, Health Assistant Sukumar Jawans and sanitation staff participated in the programme.
