Cyber crimes committed in Rajannasircilla district
Complaint on NCRP portal the concerned police station will respond immediately
RSD- Sircilla news:Fake lotteries, fake job advertisements, fake bank account information and fake gift boxes, loan app, part time job, more profit with less investment, cyber crimes in the names of pink whatsapp. He said that people should be alert to these as criminals are deceiving people. We should never share our personal information on social media because cyber criminals wait for such opportunities so we should be careful while using phones. A call to 1930 immediately after any cybercrime incident can help you recover your lost money.
Some cyber crimes committed in Rajannasircilla district during this week
- The victim received a video call on WhatsApp from an unknown number within Sircilla Town Police Station. When the video call was attended, it came to know that it was an obscene video call with a woman. The cybercriminals recorded the video colony screen, morphed it with the victim’s photo and demanded money. Rs. 5150/- was lost to the victim thereby.
- In Sircilla Town Police Station, the victim saw an ad on OLX saying Pulsar bike for sale. The cyber criminal said that he would sell the bike and transferred Rs.51,400/- as packing fee and transportation fee several times and lost.
Precautions to be taken:-
• Cyber scams in the name of lottery, be alert. If you get such messages, immediately call 1930 and complain.
• Don’t believe WhatsApp and Telegram ads that say investment in thousands and profits in lakhs.
• When depositing less money they give profit and when they deposit more amount they cheat by not giving money. Call 1930 immediately if you fall victim to such cyber fraud.
• Realize that they are cyber fraudsters who message you and ask you for a job.
• Don’t believe the messages that your SBI YONO is blocked to update PAN CARD, don’t click on the links.
• Don’t invest by looking at ads on social media, stop and think, it could be a cyber fraud.
• If you get OTP without your involvement do not tell anyone. It might be a move by cyber criminals.
