Drugged the old lady and chain snatched – Vemulawada

On 08-12-2022 Karika Sarojani w/o Pratap Reddy from Tadikal Village, Kesavapatnam Mandal, Karimnagar District, aged 80 years an old woman at Annadana Satram, an unknown woman age approx 25-30 years, from Tadikal Village, Kesavapatnam Mandal, Karimnagar District took the old woman for Rajanna Darshan at Vemulawada. According to the complaint filed by the victim that the young woman had made contact with the old lady and stole a gold chain of around 2 tola from her neck by making her to drink drugged cold drink. A case have been registered and investigation with the help of CCTV cameras in the temple premisesis going on , the photo of the unidentified woman who was accompanying the old lady have been collected from the footage. Town Police Inspector O. Venkatesh said that if anyone recognizes this woman, they can inform the police about the details of such persons.
