Encounter in Telangana-Chhattisgarh border – Two Maoists died
Police exchanged fire with Maoists in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Two Maoists were killed in this encounter.
While the Greyhounds were carrying out combing in the forest area on the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border on 07.05.2023, the Maoists attacked them at Puttapadu in Charla mandal. The Maoists opened fire on the Greyhounds team. Two Maoists were killed in the retaliatory firing. IOS commander Rajesh was found among the dead. Police recovered one SLR weapon from the spot.
