RSD- Vemulawada news: On 01.03.2024, 10 CC cameras installed in Fazul Nagar village of Vemulawada rural mandal along with police officers, CC camera donors and public representatives were present and was inaugurated by the district SP. Villagers and students welcomed the district SP who came as the chief guest for the inauguration of the CC cameras. District SP congratulated the donor Goduku Rajkumar who came forward to install CC cameras in the village.

After that, the SP said that there are many uses of CC cameras, any small incident in the village can be known immediately through CC cameras, CC cameras provide more security in villages, one CC camera is equal to 100 policemen, many cases have been filed recently through CC cameras. He said that the CCTV cameras will be used as evidence during the investigation of the cases and they will protect the people in the village 24 hours a day. The villages who do not have CCTV cameras in the police station area have been asked to come forward and cooperate with the police department. He said that everyone should follow the rules of traffic and road safety, strict action will be taken if caught driving under the influence of alcohol. In recent times, those caught driving under the influence of alcohol in the district have been serving jail sentences. He said that it is their responsibility to make sure that children wear helmets while driving and that they do not drive under the influence of alcohol.

He said that the district police department is working with the goal of drug eradication and everyone should participate in drug eradication. Counseling will be conducted if the details of the drug addicts are provided. He said that a de-addiction center has been set up in the district to guide those addicted to drugs to the right path. If your relatives and children are addicted to drugs, they should be counseled at the de-addiction center and their details will be kept confidential. He said that women should compete with the men in career and get settled in high positions. When women face problems and find it difficult to reach the police station, they can contact Sakhi Center and District She Team in the districts and they will conduct counseling in the presence of family members. If anyone commits violence against a minor girl, cases will be registered against them under the POCSO Act.
