Fee concession by health cards to Home Guards

In view of the welfare of 202 Home Guards and their families working in the district, District SP Akhil Mahajan took a special initiative and in collaboration with IMA (Indian Medical Council) provided fee concessions to Home Guards and their family members in hospitals during the treatment related to health problems of Home Guards personnel. With the intention of helping, the management of 43 hospitals in the district responded positively and gave concessions in hospital expenses. The health cards related to that were handed over to the Home Guards by the district police officer on 08.05.2023.

SP said that health cards have been provided to the Home Guards personnel in the district like never before. These health cards have been given to the personnel who are constantly working hard day and night. These health cards are very useful for their welfare. He said that since health cards are available in private hospitals in Ellareddypet, OP will be seen for free, in-patient and lab fees will be subsidized.Staff should also not be addicted to bad habits. We can work efficiently for people only when we are healthy. The SP thanked the doctors and congratulated the hospital management for agreeing to give a discount on the cost of the police personnel’s treatment payment.
