Kaloji, the great man who spread Telangana literature to the world – Rajannasircilla district

Prajakavi Kaloji Narayana Rao’s birthday celebrations were grandly organized at the District Police Office and at 17th Police battalion office. District SP and Battalion Commander Mr. K. Subramaniam paid tributes to the portrait of Kaloji Narayana Rao by garlanding it. Later, officers and other police personnel paid tributes by placing flowers at Kaloji’s portrait.

Speaking on the occasion, Battalion Commander Mr. K. Subramaniam said that the services rendered by Prajakavi Kalloji to the field of Telugu literature cannot be forgotten. Public poet Kaloji Narayana Rao, who made world to hear the people’s problems through his voice, is said to be memorable.

Later SP said that, he is hailed as Kaloji, the idealist who spread Telangana literature to the world. It is said that Kaloji Narayana Rao was a visionary who inspired many poets in Telangana region. Apart from working for the preservation of Telangana language, he is described as a great man who inspired the people of Telangana through his poems. He said that the spirit of their writings has contributed more to the achievement of Telangana. He urged the people to continue the spirit of the poet Kaloji Narayana Rao, who was honored with India’s highest award, Padma Vibhushan. Kaloji’s writings led the youth towards the Telangana movement and through his writings, he opposed the injustices of the Dominace system. SP said that Kaloji’s works especially for the achievement of Telangana state ignited the spirit among the youth and Kaloji was a great man who fought on social issues.

Additional SP Chandraya, Administration Officer Hammadullah Khan, CI Upender, office superintendents, Assistant Commandant Mr. Ym. Parthasarathy Reddy, Administrative Officer Mrs. B. Shtelaja, officers and staff of District Police office and 17th Battalion of Police participated in their offices for this program.
