MLC Kavitha will be arrested says ED
RSD- Hyderabad news: On 15.03.2024, ED said that MLC Kavitha is being arrested.BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha got a shock. IT officials along with ED officials conducted IT raids at her residence in Banjara Hills. It seems that these searches are being conducted in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case. A team of 12 officials from Delhi has formed into 4 teams and conducted inspections. 10 officers including two women officers participated in the searches. Along with Kavitha, the ED officials are also investigating her husband’s businesses. No one is allowed in the house. In this order, the authorities seized two phones of Kavitha. It is reported that her statement was recorded. On the other hand, police were heavily deployed near Kavitha’s residence. On the other hand, the Supreme Court postponed the hearing on the petition filed by MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the liquor scam case to 19th of March 2024. Challenging the ED notices to attend the hearing in the liquor case, she filed a petition not to take any preliminary steps. As a result, whether or not she should attend the inquiry before the investigating agencies, that day’s inquiry will become crucial.
