Whose fault is it, reporter’s or press agency?
RSD- Tanguturu news: Once upon a time, newspaper owners used to conduct various tests to hire a reporter. After passing those exams they were taken to duty only if there were no cases in the local police station. Contributors are given a line account. After that the situation completely changed. Except for one major newspaper, all others started as ads and circulation target. Line account reduced almost. In addition to this, people without subject knowledge started entering this field. The entire system got corrupted as the owners think only from the perspective of revenue. Not only the contributors but the bureau chiefs are also found doing wrong things. The main reason for all these misdeeds is the media organizations. They are harassing people by targeting ads and harassing them for circulation without giving a line account. They are writing diagonally. As the owners are only thinking in terms of revenue, no one is paying attention to what is happening in the field. With this, the lower level reporters are getting angry. They learned to threaten, extort, send so much to the management, and pocket some for themselves. As the revenue is coming in leaps and bounds, the owners are not too busy.
Police say that five journalists are behind the suicide of Niruti Ravi and his three sons in Tanguturu village of Shankarpalli Mandal. All but two of the five belong to major newspapers and news channels. All but one of these news papers only provide reporters with a line account. And if the owner of that news channel stopped giving line account before Corona, there is nothing to be done with this or they fell on the people like this. They started harassing, and finally they started harassing journalists in the guise of street thugs. The Tanguturu incident is just an example. That also came out in the police investigation. There are many incidents that did not come out. Today’s journalism is all about harassing and bothering from the officials to the common people.
