PD Act against wild animal poachers

RSD- Konraopet news: Pallapu Devaraju of Bandapalli village in Chandurthi Mandal, whose father Bhimaiah, who was the cause of the death of a person by getting shock with electric wires near the crop fields in Marrimadla forest area those electric wires were for protecting crops from wild animals which is causing danger to the lives of farmers in the area of Marrimadla forest. Rajannasircilla District Collector Anurag Jayanthi ordered to implement the PD Act on the person, Chandurthi CI Kiran Kumar and Konaraopet SI Ramakant took custody of Pallapu Devaraj on the orders of the District Collector and SP. Act detention orders were served and on 08.07.2023 the accused was shifted to Charlapalli Central Jail and lodged in Charlapalli Jail.

He pointed out that the responsibility of protecting wild animals is on everyone and if forests are to continue to survive, there must be animals. If such animals fall prey to poachers, the preservation of the forests will be questionable. If current wires are installed at crop fields for wild animals in such a way as to endanger the lives of farmers and people, legal action will be taken against them.

Vemulawada DSP Nagendrachari, Chandurthi CI Kiran Kumar, and Konaraopeta SI Ramakanth, District SP Akhil Mahajan, IPS congratulated Vemulawada DSP for their efforts to implement the PD Act.
