Private Nursing Home labour rooms seized by DMHO

RSD- District news: According to Suman Mohan Rao, the officer of the district medical and health department, 3 private nursing home maternity rooms in Rajannasircilla  district have been seized as per the orders of the district collector. On 11.04.2024, the District Medical and Health Department seized 3 private nursing home labor rooms where 100% births were performed only through caesarean operations in the year 2023-24 as per the orders of the District Collector. He said that the district collector ordered to seize the private nursing homes where 100% cesarean deliveries were conducted in the year 2023-24, and according to their orders, the maternity rooms were seized at Amrita Nursing Home in Vemulawada, Vasudeva Hospital and Sarayu Hospitals in Sircilla. In a statement, an official of the medical department said that notices have been issued to the management of the hospital and no deliveries can be conducted in these hospitals until further orders from the government.
