State award for Illanthakunta school

RSD- Illanthakunta news: In coordination with various government offices, Education Department, Medical, Panchayat, Technical Education and Cess, as part of this, the Karimnagar Unit Office of the Department of Development of the United Telangana State is undertaking several environmental protection programs with the aim of environmental protection, pollution prevention, and energy savings as the mantra of electricity income. Measures have been taken to save electricity and use solar energy throughout the district.

As  a part of National Energy Saving Week – 2023, TSREDCO, Karimnagar and ZPHS Illanthakunta have jointly organized many programs especially artistic performances, rallies and awareness programs by students on energy saving, electricity saving, petrol and diesel saving in surrounding government offices, mass capacity building. Awareness programs on these issues in places and fellow government schools, programs like saving electricity during Navratri, Dussehra, Ganesh festivals, especially by adopting new technology and running fans, LED tube lights installed in the school in the past three years for saving electricity and setting an example for other schools, and many other recognitions at the state level. The state level gold prize was won by competing with schools.

The award was presented by Chandan Mitra, Retired IFS Officer, Janaiah, VC & MD TSREDCO, Hemanth Kumar Rao, Regional Director, NPC on 20.12.2023 at Visvesvaraya Building, Hyderabad, School Principal Mrs. M. Premalatha, Nodal Officer V. Mahesh Chandra, Students Tipparapu Nandini, Tipparapu Saranya received the award. Sunitha,

School teachers Ramana Reddy, Madhusudan Rao, Mohan Reddy, Manjula, Latha, Anil Kumar, Sattiaha, Swapna and Sujatha congratulated them for being nominated at the national level and wished them to receive the best level prize there as well. On 20.12.2023 an awareness program was organized under the Bureau of Indian Standards BIS organization at K.G.B.V.Sircilla Patashala. C. H. Vidisha and G. Prabhakar BIS Resource Person made the students aware by informing students in detail about BIS Mark on the occasion of 77th Foundation Day Hall Mark for Gold Jewellery, Agri Mark for Agricultural Products ISI Mark for quality of various goods, how useful ISI Mark is for checking the authenticity of various goods

After making the students aware about the details of BIS care App, for students,a standard writing competition and a poster making competition was conducted and cash prizes were given to the winning students.
