System can survive only if it works with commitment says Collector
RSD- Sircilla news: Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that the system can survive only if it works with commitment. He distributed appointment papers to village administration officers at the conference hall of the Integrated District Collectorate on 06.09.2025. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that the Revenue Department is very crucial in the government and we have many key responsibilities like protecting government lands, maintaining records of private patta lands, and issuing certificates required by the people. He clarified that the government has appointed village administration officers for the village panchayats in the district, and they should provide better services to the people at the field level as per the rules and that no irregularities should be committed anywhere. He said that timely services should be provided to the people as per the Citizen Chart. He explained that additional collectors, revenue division officers and tehsildars will conduct surprise inspections at the field level and the performance of village administration officers will be continuously monitored. He said that after 3 years, the VRO, VRA and junior assistants of the Revenue Department will return to the parent department (Revenue) in the form of village administration officers. The Collector ordered that the candidates who are receiving appointment letters on 06.09.2025 should join duty immediately. Collectorate AO Ram Reddy, GPOs and others participated in this meeting.
