Take advantage of government schemes and get developed – Rajannasircilla district

Mind Care and Counseling Center, Handloom and Textile Department organized an awareness program by prominent psychologist K. Punnamchander on the social security schemes provided by the Government of Owners to the workers at Rajiv Nagar. Mittakola Sagar, assistant director of Rajannasircilla, textile department, was present and spoke as the chief guest of the program. Speaking on this occasion, they said that every worker should take advantage of the government schemes. Telangana government has introduced many social security schemes for the welfare of handloom and power loom workers. Every worker should be registered in thrift scheme, yarn subsidy scheme and netanna insurance schemes.

Apart from that, the central government is implementing life insurance schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Yojana through public sector banks. Development is possible only when the worker receives his wages along with the schemes introduced by the government. On behalf of handloom textile department, it is a great thing that the government has given orders related to government schemes like making bathukamma sarees, school uniform, Ramzan gift, Christmas gift, KCR kit and purchasing them. Punjab National Bank Manager Raghavendra explained about Royal Mudra Scheme, insurance policies, street vendor scheme, facilities offered by banks and zero accounts. Community Facilitator Vemula Markendeulu, Aluvala Eshwar, Lead Bank Councilor Venkataramana, Advocate K. Tirumala, Sakhi Counselor Devika, Bandi Srinivas, Kondi Satyanarayana, Mind Care Center staff Vemula Annapurna, Rapelli Latha, Konda Uma, Boora Srimati workers participated in this program.
