32.754 kg of ganja burnt under the direction of District Drugs Disposal Committee
RSD-Sircilla news: On 02.11.2023, 32 kg 754 grams of banned ganja seized in 41 cases registered in various police stations in Gala dump yard at Ragudu in Sircilla was burnt in a scientific method under the direction of the district SP. Speaking on the occasion, SP said that the biggest problem that is currently plaguing the society is that the youth are getting addicted to ganja and other drugs and are ruining their precious future. He said that the police are effectively preventing the transportation of ganja in the district. He informed that the rest of the ganja in the possession of the police in the district will also be burnt in installments according to the law. He said that PD acts will be registered against those who transport intoxicants like ganja and gutka and legal action will be taken. Additional Chandraiah, DSP Uday Reddy, RI Yadagiri, Town CI Upender and staff participated along with SP.
