Boora Rajeswari a poetess from handloom family of SIrcilla

KTR said that the way Rajeshwari was born in a poor handloom family and overcame her disabilities with self-confidence, learned letters writing and wrote poems was amazing. Rajeshwari has proved that the disability is not for the body to achieve goals. Rajeshwari, whose inspirational life journey is a role model for many has expired on 28.12.2022. KTR prayed for her soul to rest in peace.

About Sircilla Rajeshwari

Born in Sircilla’s poor handloom family, Rajeshwari’s life was marred by disability. She wrote many poems as letters with her legs as hands were disabled. Rajeshwari wrote many poems with unwavering self-confidence. It is known that the collection her poems and letters werw brought as Sircilla Rajeswari Poems by Suddhala Foundation. The forewords of Dr. Sheelalolitha for the collection of poems of Rajeswari which came out in 2014 said that “Life is a Poetry” We are leading our lives and are suffering, but Rajeswari is living with atmost satisfaction for her life even though she is diabled and from those experiences these poems were written. Rajeshwari passed away on 28. 12 .2022 after suffering from illness for some time. Sircilla Rajeshwari, who defied disability and wrote letters with self-confidence in poetry, is no more. The President of Municipal Corporation Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani paid floral tributes to poetess Boora Rajeshwari who died untimely on 28.12.2022 and consoled the family members of poetess Boora Rajeshwari expressing her deepest sympathy on the death of poetess Boora Rajeshwari.

In this regard, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Association said that the death of popular poet Boora Rajeshwari from Sircilla town is a great loss to the society.

She said that they are always with us in the form of poems written by those who are physically distant from us, creating awareness in us. Poet Boora Rajeshwari, who changed her legs as arms and created many wonderful works without suffering from disability, instilled self-confidence in many people, said that the life of poetess Boora Rajeshwari is exemplary for all of us.

Chief Minister KCR recognized the talent of Boora Rajeshwari and provided financial assistance of ten lakh rupees on behalf of the state government and provided a facility of 10 thousand rupees every month and also a double bedroom house. She said that Telangana government gives high priority to poets and artists and respects them.

Chief Minister KCR, Minister KTR said that we are proud to announce that the last rituals of Poet Boora Rajeshwari are being conducted on 29.12.2022 at the own expense of BRS Party Town President Jindam Chakrapani.
