The District SP congratulated the court duty officers who worked hard to get the accused punished in various cases and gave away certificates of appreciation. District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS suggested that by increasing the percentage of punishment and punishment of criminals in court cases, a good change can be brought in the society. On 21.04.2023, police officers performing court duties for their efforts to punish criminals in various cases in the district police work were felicitated and rewarded with certificates of appreciation.

SP advised that everyone should work responsibly to ensure that the criminals are punished in coordination with the judicial authorities. The police officers were asked to constantly monitor the progress of the pending cases and follow the advice and instructions of the superiors to solve the cases. POCSO and murder cases should be considered as the main ones and should be taken forward while doing the panchanama in each case. He said that in all the cases scientific evidence has become crucial as technology has become crucial. In the main cases related to the court cases, the officers who work to increase the percentage of punishments should be given rewards to the staff to try to get life imprisonment for the accused. He said that the accused in various cases have been sentenced to imprisonment by the court. Among them, one has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case related to Vemulawada Town Police Station, one year imprisonment in the ganja case related to Mustabad Police Station, a fine of Rs. 2000 and 6 months imprisonment have been given by the court. Efforts were made to punish the criminals in the above cases
