District SP Rahul Hegde conducted review meeting of the police officers
RSD- Suryapet news: On 19.03.2024, SP Rahul Hegde IPS held a monthly review meeting with Suryapet sub divisional police officers at the district police office. On this occasion, the SP conducted a review on pending cases, enforcement, inspections, response to dial 100 complaints, setting up surveillance, recovery of theft cases, road safety measures etc.
On this occasion, SP Rahul Hegde IPS said that the pending cases should be reviewed and coordinated with the court staff from time to time. Dial 100, the response to the complaints should be fast and the Blue Colts staff have been asked to perform their duties efficiently. He ordered that strict enforcement should be carried out in the matter of road safety by conducting regular checks, and if the vehicles are driven under the influence of alcohol and recklessly, the vehicles should be impounded along with a fine.
He said that traffic control and regulation should be done in the district center as well as other major urban centres, he said that measures should be taken to prevent the causes of accidents by working in coordination with the concerned authorities for the prevention of road accidents. He said that legal action should be taken against open drinking, smuggling, illegal activities, transportation and consumption of ganja and efforts should be made to prevent them. The staff are asked to work towards a goal with team work and good relations with the public. He said that in the background of the soon to be held Parliament elections, the district should strictly implement the election rules and all the staff should work well. He said that the focus should be on those who are in the Election Commission cases. Suryapet Sub Division DSP Ravi, DCRB DSP Mattiah, CIs Rajasekhar, Surender Reddy, Srinu, Raghuveer Reddy, DCRB, IT Core SIs and staff participated in this meeting.
