Farmers should be strengthened financially with oil farm cultivation -MPP

MPP Manasa Raju was the chief guest for the awareness conference about alternative crops for the farmers of the villages under the cluster at Rythu Vedika in Tangallapally mandal center on 19.05.2023. She said that oil farm should be cultivated as an alternative to rice crop and become economically stronger. With the determination of Chief Minister KCR to make the farmer the king, she informed that the Telangana government is working towards supporting the farmer by establishing many welfare schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, village-wise rice grain centers. .

She informed that the oil farm farmers will be provided seedlings on subsidy, Drip irrigation system on subsidy will provide 100% subsidy to SC farmers, 90% subsidy to BC farmers, 80% subsidy to others and Rs. 4,200/- will be deposited in the farmer’s account till the harvest of one acre of cultivation, they informed that the farmer brothers should utilize this opportunity.

On this occasion, Naini Paparao of Chirlavancha village who cultivated an oil farm within this cluster was honoured.Subsequently green gram (jeeluga) seeds with 65% concession on subsidy were distributed to farmers along with public representatives.

Local Sarpanch Ankarapu Anita Ravinder, Chintalathana Sarpanch Isari Umma Raju, Sircilla Fox Vice Chairman Egu Mamidi Venkataramana Reddy, Horticulture Officer Sravanti, AEO Karnakar, Jagruti Mandal President Kandukuri Rama Goud and farmers leaders of various villages participated in this program.
