India Mobile Congress 2023 special focus on 5G and 6G technologies

RSD- New Delhi news: Companies are showcasing 5G and 6G technologies at the India Mobile Congress 2023 in New Delhi. As part of that, Nokia gave a demo regarding 6G technology. The company’s annual Telecom Technology Forum will focus on sensing technologies such as 6G connectivity, rapid rail NCRTC, private wireless network, 4G/LTE network on the moon, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, extended reality (XR), and Metaverse intelligent factory management technologies based on blockchain technology. The demo was presented. Through the 6G sensing technology presented by Nokia, they tried to make the users aware of their surroundings and the conditions there. Nokia says this sensing technology protects users’ privacy and acts like radar, sensing the movement of people and objects National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has also demonstrated a private wireless network for the Delhi to Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System. It was developed in partnership with French company Alstom. It is the world’s first LTE/ 4.9G private wireless network.

Nokia has teamed up with Bell Labs’ Intuitive Machines, Lunar Outpost to launch the first cellular 4G/LTE network on the Moon, sponsored by NASA. Nokia will use the same cellular technology used to connect smartphones on Earth
