Kanti Velugu camp inauguration – Sircilla

On 19.01.2023, District Collector Anurag Jayanthi, President of the Municipal Corporation Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, District Library Department Presidents Akunuri Shankaraiah and Gaddam Narasiah participated as chief guests and inaugurated the Kanti Velugu centers to be organized in the local 15th, 20th and 35th wards. .

In thius regard, President of Municipal Association Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that as a part of the goal of healthy Telangana, the  Chief Minister KTR established a medical college for each district, Telangana diagnostic centers and government nursing college to conduct 57 types of diagnostic tests free of charge and various schemes like KCR Kit, Nutrition Kit, Digital Health Profile Scheme, Arogyashri and said that they are working successfully to provide better government medical services to the people.

As a part of that, Chief Minister KCR said that the eye is the most important sense organ of a human being, so people should not be bothered by such eye problems. In 2018, he started this Kanti Velugu program and provided free eye diagnostic tests to all the people above the age of 18 years across the state of Telangana, providing necessary medicines, eye glasses and surgery. He reminded that better medical services have been provided to the needy.

Chief Minister KCR said that government has taken steps to make all arrangements to provide eye-related medical services to all the eligible people from the 18th of this month.

Similarly, Minister KTR said that he is regularly alerting the authorities the public representatives to ensure the success of the Kanti Velugu program should run without any shortcomings by providing better eye care services to the people by the expert medical team.  In order to provide better medical services to the people as a part of this Kanti Velugu program, in the first phase, Kanti Velugu health camps have been set up in the 15th, 20th and 35th wards. All arrangements have been made to provide medical services to 400 people per day by conducting these medical camps for five days from 9 am to 4 pm in each ward.

Similarly, for the convenience of the people who come to the Kanti Velgu health centers, all arrangements have been made to provide services to all the people till the last person by providing basic facilities like maintenance of toilets, sanitation, fresh water accommodation and tent, chairs. All people are requested to participate in this Kanti Velugu program and solve their eye problems with the help of doctors. Additional Collector Satya Prasad, Municipal Commissioner Sammayya, Vice Chairman Manche Srinivas, Councilors Akunuri Vijayanirmala Balaraju, Adepu Saujanya Mahender, Doosa Vinay, Darnam Aruna Lakshminarayana, Lingampally Satyanarayana, Gundlapalli Neeraja Poornadala were present in this program.
