SP advises to be careful when locking house and going on vacation

Rajannasircilla District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS., warned that if you are going to the village after locking the house during the summer vacations, be careful. The SP along with the officials unveiled the pamphlet prepared on behalf of the district police department to make people aware of the precautions to be taken while going to the vacation by locking houses.

SP gave many suggestions to the people of the district.

1. Gold jewelery and cash in the house should be secured or kept in a bank locker.
2. Almiraha locks should be taken with them instead of being kept at home.
3. Valuable things and personal things should not be told to others.
4. Central locking system and CC cameras should be installed at the main door of the house.
5. By installing CC cameras you can view your home status on mobile.
6. Under no circumstances should the gate be locked from the outside, it should be locked from the inside.
7. Keep the light inside the house and keep the outside light of the house always on.
8. CCTV cameras or watchmen should be kept in the apartment.
9. Concerned police station, VPO/WPO constable can give information.
10. Thefts can be controlled if people and police work together in coordination.
11. Lock the houses and give information to the neighbors and the local police station while going to the vacations.
12. People are advised to inform the local police or dial 100 immediately if they see any suspicious persons roaming around the apartment or colony.
13. Local residents should form as associations and patrol at night.
14. To prevent thefts, watchmen should be kept and should be asked to patrol their areas by forming a community of 50 to 100 people.
