Strict action for sale of narcotic drugs without prescription says SP
RSD- Sircilla news: District SP said that if the managers of medical shops and agencies in the district sell drugs without doctor’s prescription, strict action would be taken and everyone should cooperate so that the youth do not become addicted to drugs. A meeting was held with the managers of medical shops and agencies on 14.02.2024. SP said on this occasion that we are working with the aim of making the district a cannabis-free district by conducting successive attacks on cannabis in the district in which the youth are affected by drugs. They want to install CC cameras in front of every medical shop and put up a poster about the de-addiction center set up in the district. Medical shop owners should also cooperate with the measures taken by the department.
In view of the youth getting attracted towards synthetic drugs, the managers of the medical shops have asked the police to give information about those who often come for the drugs. He said that the details of those who have given information will be kept confidential and at the same time necessary steps will be taken to protect the managers of the medical shops. He said that the future of the country will be destroyed due to the debilitation of the youth due to drugs, and it is our responsibility to protect the future youth who are crucial in building a good society and nation from being affected by drugs and becoming debilitated.
The SP warned that intoxicants should not be sold without a doctor’s prescription under any circumstances and strict action will be taken against anyone who sells them in violation of the rules. He warned that strict action will be taken if expired, low quality and counterfeit drugs are sold in violation of government regulations. Similarly, if you sell intoxicating tablets without a prescription, you will be punished with imprisonment, drug cases will be more severe, and if you go to jail, you will not even get bail.
