Accused in murder case arrested and moved to remand
RSD- Vemulawada news: Korukuntla Babu’s father Ramulu, 27 years R/O Old Urban colony in Vemulawada town and Kurukuntla Sridhar, Father Srisailam, 24 yrs. R/0 Old Urban colony, were friends from about last 3 yrs. When Babu bought an Appachi vehicle, due to a small quarrel between the two, Sridhar poured petrol on Babu’s Appachi vehicle and set it on fire. Sridhar gave on 50 thousand for Babu’s bike, without giving the rest of the money, Sridhar used to talk down about Babu in front of his friends, and keeping this in mind, Babu used to develop a bias against his friend and often became angry. In this sequence, Korukuntla Babu went back and forth from Bombay and reached Vemulawada 10 days ago, when Sridhar saw Babu, he taunted Babu with insulting words. Fed up with Sridhar’s behaviour, Babu planned to murder him, so at 11.00 P.M on 11.02.2024 Babu took Sridhar on Srudhra’s bike HF DELUXE BIKE B.NO.TS 23 A 3546 to 2nd Bypass road and cut Sridhar’s throat and killed him. Sridhra was fully drunk at the time of incident. Then Babu took Sridhra’s bike and running away. On 14.02.2024 at Vemulawada, on the basis of reliable information, Babu was arrested and taken to remand said DSP.
